Know Your Candidates: Candidates standing for Election to the Committee

GamFed’s next Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled for Friday, 8 January, at 2:00 pm, UK time, on Google Hangout. A brief profile of the candidates who have nominated themselves for committee roles is carried below (in alphabetical order). The next committee will be elected in the upcoming AGM.

Alessandro Sandionigi Corcione

Alessandro Sandionigi brings vast experience as a Sales Network Development and Training Manager in national and international companies. Now as Strategic Consultant for both startups and large companies, he helps entrepreneurs in three specific fields: business modelling, brand positioning and go-to-market approach.
He has consolidated his professional and personal background in business dynamic systems thinking and modelling.

A great spirit of curiosity for positive impact projects and the passion for innovation brought him to his latest work experiences, in a world made of Influencers’ Marketing, Blockchain and Gamification.

Andrew Lau

Andrew Lau is the CEO & Founder of Think Codex, a Gamification Organization specializing in Learning & Development. In under 3 years, Think Codex has won numerous awards – the latest being the Outstanding Gamification Project in Learning at Gamification Europe. Andrew has vast experience across multiple business & leadership roles in Shell where he spent half of his professional career. He is both an IMD and George Washington University Alumni. He is also a certified Lego Serious Play Facilitator and trained in Design Thinking by IDEO.

He truly believes in Gamification and has seen how it engages people towards being their better self. Gamification is at it’s early stages in Asia and he is actively involved in championing it. He speaks regularly on national radio, writes articles for newspapers and trade magazines in matters related to Gamification. Last but not least, his dream is that professionals in GamFed will take up the unique position given to them to shape the standards, trends and best practices of Gamification globally. He is excited to be part of that journey.

Ercan Altug Yilmaz

Ercan Altuğ Yılmaz is a Mathematical Engineer with over a decade’s experience having worked for several training companies in Turkey. He is the author of the first Turkish book on gamification: ‘Herkes icin Oyunlastirma’ and he is GamFed’s ambassador in Turkey.

Altuğ blogs about gamification in Turkish via his blog: He lectures at Bahcesehir University in Istanbul, Turkey and consults on gamification for companies while also organizing several gamification focussed events in Turkey.

Jaxton Cheah

Jaxton Cheah is a Gamification Advocate in Malaysia. He is also the Chief User Experience Architect of TraitQuest – a technology company with a mission to revolutionise the human resources space with human-centered design to drive employee engagement and organisational development.

He works with many reputable gamification experts in the United States and Europe such as Amy Jo Kim, Yu-Kai Chou, Pete Jenkins, and An Coppens to promote Game Thinking & Gamification in the South East Asia (SEA) region. He was recruited by Amy Jo Kim, the founder of Game Thinking Academy (GTA) to be a GTA coach.

Dr. Mustafa Galal

Dr. Mustafa Galal is a Learning, Development, and coaching professional with over 10 years of diverse experience in different fields like pharmaceutical, medical, retail and education. Mustafa excelled at different positions through out his career that gave him a deep insight into people psychology. He is also the director of external relations of the ICF Saudi Chapter.

Mustafa Established his own brand (BRIDGING) that helps individuals and companies to clearly define and achieve their own strategic objectives thereby achieving better performance through designing and developing customized developmental solutions using the most recent tools and methodologies, specially gamification, game based learning and experiential learning.

Mustafa is certified in the following domains from international bodies: Gamification in learning, Key Performance Indicators, Change Management, Entrepreneurship and Leadership.
